Partnerships & Stewardship

Our Approach

The Tree Museum of Dallas works with cities, universities, nonprofits, businesses, landowners, and community organizations to advance conservation across North Texas. We combine ecological research, project planning, education, and community engagement to turn shared environmental goals into practical, long-term stewardship.

Our Team

Our team is intentionally small, agile, and mission-driven, specializing in community engagement consulting and nonprofit consulting. We bring hands-on experience in urban forestry, sustainable program development, and project execution—working directly with neighborhoods and partners to create lasting client relationships.

Research & Operations

Leads program strategy, field operations, research planning, documentation standards, and organizational systems. This role helps transform conservation goals into structured projects with clear objectives, repeatable processes, measurable outcomes, and long-term value.

Community & Partnerships

Connects people, organizations, and programs. This role coordinates partnerships, educational initiatives, volunteer engagement, outreach, and communication while helping create meaningful opportunities for communities to participate in conservation.

Field & Project Support

Supports ecological surveys, project logistics, field documentation, data collection, implementation, and follow-up. This role helps ensure projects move efficiently from planning into action while maintaining consistency across TMD programs and partner initiatives.

Research, Conservation & Stewardship

TMD collaborates with organizations seeking to better understand, protect, and strengthen North Texas landscapes. Opportunities may include ecological monitoring, native species documentation, heritage tree initiatives, community science, environmental education, restoration support, volunteer programs, and long-term stewardship planning.

Professional and sponsored partnerships help expand TMD's research, conservation, and educational work throughout North Texas.
